Hi bloggers in term 1, I did an Autumn haiku poem. A haiku is a poem that has a 5, 7, 5 syllable pattern.
This how I did my autumn haiku in the first sentence, I did - Leaves are falling down. In the second sentence I thought about - Leaves are drying quickly. And then I thought about the third sentence and I got - Leaves are changing colours.
This is how we do our Autumn Haiku. Bye bloggers see you next time Pranidhi.
Kiaora Pranidhi! I love your Autumn haiku because I love the way you described whats happening in the season Autumn. I also love the way you told us what a Haiku is.
ReplyDeleteOnce again I love your blog. Bye!

ReplyDeleteI love how you used a picture that matches your poem! I always found haiku poems difficult. When I read your poem I seem to be counting 5, 6, 6, syllable - am I pronouncing it right?
- Miss Laxa
Hi Miss laxa thank you for the comment yes your pronouncing it right.

ReplyDeleteHi there Pranidhi
ReplyDeleteYour poem presentation looks amazing.. I love how the words sit to the side and somehow contrast with the colours of the picture! I remember writing haiku poems when I was in primary, how do you work out your syllables? We used to clap them out. I'm sure Miss Laxa and I aren't counting properly! What do you think?
Thank you Marleen.
